Music Video COMPLETE!

I am on fire today! Look at me blogging about my assessment =)

Music Video - Boats and Birds from Cassie V on Vimeo.

Music Video - Just the way you are

I think every girl is in love with this song at the moment~

The video is kind of the generic music clip, except I love the animation they've done with the tape.  I found it quite interesting =)

Enjoy!

Animation week of hell

Yup. That's what my ''holidays'' are being called.

Here is where I am after 4 days into the week and a half I have to work non-stop on my projects. (Week and a half of hell didn't sound as catchy...)

Here we go:

Linetest for the guards running on the bridge (Thanks so much for the help Frank!):

Music Video Update:

It will be interesting to see how much more I've done in a week.

Narrative vs Music Video

Here is my progress reel for September for Frank:

And my latest work on my progress on my music video for Jane's class:

Question: Is it wrong that I love my music video more than my narrative? Cos I feel like my narrative will never be complete and doesn't make any sense and looks terrible visually. Then I look to my music video and go ahhhh can i just work on this instead?

Anyway, that's where I'm at.

Have a lovely Monday night!

My narrative and I are not on speaking terms today so I worked on my music video instead. Here is what I'm up to!

Notice anything slightly different? Yes there is a new background! Jane suggested getting one of my encaustic paintings and scanning it in to use for texture. And there you go. I quite like the textures I have =)

Music Video WIP

Music Video update.

It wasn't uploaded onto youtube with audio. But you can see how much I have now animated =)

Yay for textures!

WIP Music Video Animatic

Here is my work in progress. It is actually in widescreen but for some reason youtube made it weird...

Anyway, in the music video I am experimenting with masking and textures. The textures are mine and so far I really like how it's turning out.

Critiques are appreciated~!

Music Vid Linetest 1

The song I am doing is Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawke.
